    Kagome Higurashi (日暮 かごめ) is the second of two co-protagonists of Inuyasha. She lived on a residential shrine with her mother, grandfather, Sota Higurashi, and their cat, Buyo. She is the reincarnation of Kikyo, born with the Shikon Jewel inside her body.

    Kagome is short with a slender build and pale skin. Her blue-black hair reaches her waist, and her forehead is mostly covered with large bangs. Her black eyebrows are thin and her eyes are brown.
